Mauritania: Aura Energy completes its drilling operations in the Tiris project for uranium
The Australian company, Aura Energy, announced today the completion of its infill drilling operations at the Tiris uranium project, which she was operating in the north of the country. These operations reached 10,000 M, according to a press release published today by the company.
The company plans to launch, in 2024, the first phase of the exploitation of this mine with a production capacity of 800,000 pounds per year. The second phase should increase the production capacity to 3.5 million in 2028.
As a reminder, the proven reserves of this mine are estimated at 60 million pounds of uranium, in addition to 18 million pounds of vanadium.
